Responsibilities:

  • Deliver performant, scalable products iteratively, helping your teams balance incremental customer value delivery with long-term product evolution
  • Drive the technical roadmap and best practices for our Identity solutions so they are scalable to accommodate rapid growth and increased user demand

  • Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent
  • Hire and coach engineering managers to continue to build and enable great teams
  • Set clear expectations with your leaders and ICs, provide regular feedback, and conduct regular performance conversations to foster a high-performing engineering team
  • Identify opportunities and implement improvements to both the product and engineering practices and processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and time-to-market
  • Collaborate with Huntress’s Architecture, Product Management, and Threat Operations teams to integrate their expertise and needs into our products

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership, building SaaS products in a modern SaaS environment

  • Experience in a fully remote environment

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays

Engineer Senior DevEx Engineer - Infrastructure at Primer

Senior infrastructure engineer who owns CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and developer tooling while building human-AI development loops for coding agents.

Senior Remote Posted 4 minutes ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

An Introduction to Primer

Primer is the unified infrastructure for global payments. We give finance and payments teams the visibility and control to reduce complexity, improve performance, and capture more revenue - all from a single platform.

Backed by Sofina, Peak XV Partners, ICONIQ, Tencent, Accel, and Balderton, we’re building the payments layer the world’s best companies rely on.

Watch our showcase >

Read up on our $100m Series C

Learn more about our culture >

Which team will you be joining?

You’ll join Infrastructure, the team that owns the platform every other Primer engineer builds and ships on. CI/CD, deployment, internal tooling, ephemeral environments: if it’s how code gets from a laptop to production safely, it’s ours.

We operate the way the rest of Primer does. Remote-first, async, high autonomy, low bureaucracy. You build it, you own it, and that includes running it in production. You’ll report to the Engineering Manager for Infrastructure & Data and work alongside a small group of senior infrastructure engineers.

What makes this interesting right now is the human-AI development loop. Coding agents are changing how software gets built, and we want someone to own how that actually works at Primer rather than bolting it on. That part of the role is yours to define.

What will you be doing?

  • Own Primer’s internal developer platform end to end: the CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows (canary, blue/green), self-service tooling and ephemeral environments that every engineer here depends on to ship.

  • Build the human-AI development loop. This is the most open part of the role: the tooling and automation that let engineers work effectively alongside coding agents, and the patterns that make agent-driven workflows fast and safe at Primer.

  • Treat developer productivity as a measurable system. Instrument it, find where delivery actually slows down, and ship the changes that fix it instead of guessing.

  • Take real operational ownership. You’ll join the Core Infrastructure on-call rotation and own the reliability of what you build.

  • Set the technical direction for how Primer’s engineers build and ship, and bring less experienced engineers along with you as you do it.

  • Improve how engineers write code, not just how they ship it. Partner with product teams to make the tools, frameworks and internal APIs they use everyday more ergonomic, and help reduce the friction of building features at Primer.

  • Build Primers paved roads. Reduce the application boilerplate engineers write, shape standards around how services are built and configured, and own the golden-path tooling that lifts efficiency across every team.

  • Work in the open across a fully distributed team, making your decisions and trade-offs visible rather than holding them in your head.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong cloud infrastructure experience. AWS is preferred; we’ll also consider strong GCP backgrounds.

  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience.

  • Infrastructure-as-code as a working tool, not a buzzword. Terraform is preferred, but Pulumi, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar are fine. Not having Terraform specifically is not a blocker.

  • CI/CD as a core competency. You’ve owned the build, test and deploy workflow and preview environments, not just used them.

  • A history of measuring and improving delivery, using DORA, SPACE or a similar framework to back the work up.

  • Comfortable owning production systems and being part of an on-call rotation.

  • A genuine software engineering background. You’ve built and maintained applications or products, not just infrastructure tooling.

  • You can reason about what makes code pleasant to work with. This is what lets you build AI and developer tooling that engineers actually want to use.

  • An async-first communicator who works well in a remote, distributed team.

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience building with AI or agent tooling, or working directly with LLM-based development workflows. This field is new, so real curiosity counts alongside real experience.

  • Familiarity with MCP servers and agent integration patterns.

  • Payments, fintech or other regulated-industry experience.

You may not like it here

  • We’re remote-first and async-first. Nobody is looking over your shoulder, and nobody is going to hand you tightly scoped tasks. You own your work from problem to production.

  • This role carries real operational weight. You’re on call for what you build, and when something breaks at an awkward hour, that’s yours too.

  • The AI-enablement side of this is genuinely undefined. There’s no playbook yet. If you want a clear, settled remit, this isn’t it. If you want to write one, it is.

  • Pace and ambiguity are constant. Priorities shift as we learn, and you’ll often be making calls without complete information.

✅ A typical interview process

  • An initial intro call with a Talent Partner

  • An interview with the Hiring Manager

  • Challenge Stage - Contextualised to the role

  • A final, values-alignment interview

What’s the culture like at Primer?

We’re building a culture where people can do their best work and be proud of the impact they have. You’ll be working with people who are mission-driven, smart, and reflective, and who are genuinely invested in building exceptional products and delivering success for our merchants.

We work remotely, and have done since day one. We believe that building a successful, profitable company goes beyond proximity. We invest in our relationships through great remote working practices and thoughtfully designed face-to-face time, including workations, our annual company retreat, and co-working space access worldwide.

The work is challenging. Scaleups are a challenge, and building category-defining products is a challenge. But there’s a meaningful difference between a challenge and a struggle. At Primer, the right challenge comes with the right support: strong onboarding, a collaborative environment, and a team that is genuinely invested in your success. It’s never something you face alone.

Engineer Staff Software Engineer - Platform, SysEng | Canada | Remote at Grafana Labs

Staff backend engineer designs and scales Grafana Cloud's platform infrastructure to handle hundreds of millions of metrics, logs, and traces per second while improving performance and reliability.

Lead Remote Posted 4 minutes ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Grafana Labs, the company behind the open observability cloud, is founded on the principles of open source, open standards, open ecosystems, and open culture. Grafana Cloud, our fully managed observability platform, is flexible and built for scale. With Grafana Cloud’s actually useful AI, organizations can see, understand, and act on all their disparate data to move at the speed of their ambitions. Today, more than 35 million users and 7,000+ customers – including Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce – trust Grafana Labs to ensure reliability of their applications and systems, resolve incidents quickly, and optimize their telemetry to reduce noise and cost. We are a 100% remote company with 1,600+ team members across 40+ countries, and we’re backed by leading investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Coatue, J.P. Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital. Learn more at grafana.com and follow us on LinkedIn and X.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.

You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.

This is a remote opportunity and we would be interested in applicants located in Canadian time zones (EST + CST highly preferred at this time).

Staff Backend Engineer - Platform SysEng

The Opportunity:

Grafana Cloud moves millions of metrics, log lines, and traces per second from our customers’ environments into a highly available, low-latency stack that processes and stores this data, and serves them to dashboards and alerting tools. We aim to grow this to hundreds of millions per second, and it’s critical that as we grow, we improve our performance, increase our reliability, and, of course, do it efficiently and effectively.

The Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) delivered by the Platform department provides application engineers with the tools, systems and Kubernetes clusters they need to build, deploy and run their workloads. Platform roles at Grafana Labs have an eye for engineers with a passion for performance and reliability, and who enjoy taking projects from conception to production. We organize ourselves into squads to allow focus on: cloud infrastructure and capacity management; security; engineering productivity; monitoring and sustainability; and US Federal compliance.

Because we deploy production services, we have on-call rotations to ensure the health of the system. Everyone at Grafana Labs tries to incorporate and use our product line up into their day-to-day, so being on call is an important way to understand our system and how people use our products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are hiring for the Platform SysEng squad. This is an accelerated, cross-cutting squad that is focused on the maturity and scalability of the platform. Currently, SysEng is working across engineering with a goal of reducing new region build timelines to meet customer demands.

We’re part of a Platform Engineering group that manages infrastructure for the teams that are building some of the most cherished tools - Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Pyroscope to name a few.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • You enjoy working with engineers, as well as with the management structures that are there to support you and enable you and your team to do your very best.
  • You are comfortable working in a remote-first company; communication is key. For us, working together means being collaborative, friendly, kind, and respectful. We operate by consensus, you can contribute to a discussion but then commit to the team decision.
  • As such, being such a highly distributed company, means we would love someone who is keen on working with distributed systems, too.
  • You are eager to learn and grow. There is a lot of room for growth and development, and the team has quite a lot of knowledge to share for those who are wanting to learn.
  • You approach development holistically. The team owns the full life cycle of our code; from writing design docs, to looking at developer feedback, and integration testing. We appreciate engineers who enjoy looking at the big picture, and also notice the details of the brush strokes. The Platform team mainly works with Go, Python, and Shell.
  • You have experience with operating your code. Since a lot of operators and developers use our software, having some grounding in both of these spaces really helps us with building better platforms for our users.

We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always paired with strong code review and quality standards. You’ll also have access to frontier models (e.g., GPT-Codex 5⁄3, Claude Opus 4.6, Gemini 3 Pro).

Requirements:

Staff engineer architecting and leading post-trade data systems at a crypto exchange, owning technical strategy for near real-time and historical data infrastructure.

Lead Onsite Posted 4 minutes ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About the Company

Gemini is a global crypto and Web3 platform founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in 2014, offering a wide range of simple, reliable, and secure crypto products and services to individuals and institutions in over 70 countries. Our mission is to unlock the next era of financial, creative, and personal freedom by providing trusted access to the decentralized future. We envision a world where crypto reshapes the global financial system, internet, and money to create greater choice, independence, and opportunity for all — bridging traditional finance with the emerging cryptoeconomy in a way that is more open, fair, and secure. As a publicly traded company, Gemini is poised to accelerate this vision with greater scale, reach, and impact.

The Department: Trading Systems

The Role: Staff Software Engineer (Post-Trade Data)

As an engineer on the Trading Systems team, you’ll architect and solve complex problems that will directly influence the direction of the digital asset space. There’s a wide range of problems to solve at Gemini—from properly securing millions of dollars worth of customer funds, to developing innovative new blockchain products, to shaving microseconds off our API response times. We have a strong culture of code reviews, and a focus on security, with the end goal of writing and shipping high-quality code by getting things right the first time. We want to continue building the best product we can as we scale and grow our business. If you get excited about solving technical challenges that directly impact our customers, clients, and the rest of the Gemini team, we’d love to hear from you.

We are seeking a high-caliber Staff Software Engineer to join our Trading Systems team in Singapore, specifically anchoring our Post-Trade Data stream. In this role, you will be a technical leader responsible for shaping our end-to-end data story. You will solve complex architecture challenges for both near real-time and historical data systems, driving our data landscape strategy forward while ensuring our operational posture remains bulletproof. The ideal candidate is a versatile hybrid—someone with deep, specialized data engineering expertise who is also a well-rounded, hands-on software engineer capable of guiding a tight-knit team.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Strategy: Provide technical direction and mentorship to the local engineering team; own the technical roadmap for the post-trade data stream, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and high-quality engineering standards.
  • Data Architecture: Design, build, and optimize robust systems to process, store, and serve critical near real-time and historical post-trade data.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Drive key strategic data projects, including the integration and optimization of modern technologies like StarRocks to elevate our analytical capabilities.
  • Feature Development: Develop new products and product features on the Gemini platform, working as part of a tight-knit team of two to eight developers.
  • Code Quality & Security: Review other software engineers’ code for correctness, style, and information security concerns. Engage in refactoring and upgrade projects to continuously improve the codebase.
  • Testing & Operations: Write automated tests and work with our QA team to ensure system correctness. Oversee general functionality of risk systems, implement advanced monitoring tools, and maintain a strong operational posture for the post-trade data

pipeline.

  • Incident & Issue Management: Identify, coordinate, and manage resolution efforts on processing usage and data bottlenecks, owning technical issues through to resolution.
  • Project Delivery: Plan and coordinate project implementation efforts, estimate work schedules, and make well-reasoned technical tradeoffs based on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 8 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of acting as a technical lead or senior architect.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in at least one backend language. We use mostly Scala and C++ on our backend and TypeScript on the frontend—it’s great if you’re comfortable in those or if you’re willing to learn.
  • Data Engineering Expertise: Heavy hands-on experience in the big data ecosystem, specifically working with distributed processing frameworks like Apache Flink and Apache Spark.
  • Execution & Collaboration: The ability to work closely across cross-functional teams, manage complex dependencies, and handle multiple competing priorities in collaboration with peers.
  • Mindset: A customer and product-focused mindset, with the ability to balance speed and quality without compromising on security or operational stability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Deep work experience or knowledge of the finance industry, payments, exchange systems, or electronic trading systems.
  • Crypto & Blockchain: Experience working with or being a power user of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and/or blockchain technology.
  • OLAP Technologies: Experience with next-generation OLAP databases (such as StarRocks, ClickHouse, or Apache Pinot) for real-time analytics is a massive plus.

It Pays to Work Here

We take a holistic approach to compensation at Gemini, which includes:

  • Comprehensive health plans covered at 100% for employees and dependents
  • Long-term incentive in the form of a new hire equity grant
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Competitive paid time off

In Singapore, we have a hybrid work policy. Employees are expected to work from the office part of the week. We believe our hybrid approach increases productivity through more in-person collaboration where possible.

At Gemini, we strive to build diverse teams that reflect the people we want to empower through our products, and we are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status. Engineer Senior Mobile Engineer at Urbantz

Senior mobile engineer builds and maintains native iOS and Android apps for delivery operations, solving connectivity challenges and shipping features that improve driver and recipient experiences.

Senior Posted 4 minutes ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

The Bit About Urbantz

At Urbantz, we help some of the world’s largest retail, grocery, e-commerce and logistics companies improve their last-mile delivery operations through smarter, more sustainable delivery management. Our SaaS platform is built for enterprise teams managing complex multi-fleet operations, helping them reduce emissions, allocate work more intelligently across carriers, build tailored workflows and create better delivery experiences for customers.

More than 100 brands use Urbantz to gain better visibility and control over their delivery operations.

Since launching in 2015, we’ve grown quickly across Europe, the Middle East and beyond. In 2020, Deloitte ranked us third in its annual Technology Fast 50 list.

The Challenge

Our app is the beating heart of the execution side of our solution. At 6am the driver scans parcels at the depot, starts the round, and always knows where to go next and when to arrive. The recipient tracks the package in real time. On arrival, the driver collects a signature and moves to the next task. Every one of these moments has to feel fast, reliable, and intuitive, for the people using the app and for the brands behind it. The tracking data then flows into our data warehouse, where it drives analysis and further improvement.

Two native apps carry all of this. They handle offline operation, poor GPS reception, NFC, barcode scanning, and live updates without the driver ever having to think about it. Thousands of people depend on them every single day.

This is a role for someone who likes building real, demanding mobile software: solving hard problems around connectivity and device hardware, making pragmatic technical decisions, and shipping features that genuinely improve the experience for drivers and recipients.

The Day-to-Day

  • Embedded in a product squad with a product manager, designer, and other engineers, you help shape and build features from idea to App Store release.
  • You build features that improve the experience for delivery drivers and recipients, including scanning flows, notifications, and navigation.
  • You refactor and modernise the iOS and Android codebases, reducing technical debt and improving architecture over time.
  • You write tests, knowing they will prevent regressions in due time.
  • You use AI tooling where it adds value and helps you work efficiently across both platforms without compromising quality.
  • Our stack: Native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), a NodeJS backend, MongoDB, GitLab CI/CD, AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.

The Must-Haves

  • Most of all, experience in building native mobile apps (either iOS or Kotlin) in a maintainable, well-architected way.
  • Experience improving existing codebases through refactoring, better architecture, and increased test coverage.
  • You see testing as a normal part of software development, not something optional.
  • You work well in collaborative product teams, communicate clearly, and know how to build alignment.

  • You stay abreast of developments and best practices within the technologies we use.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to keep learning.
  • You reside in Europe, in a time zone close to one of the Urbantz HQ (CET), and within ±4 hours of travel so that we can fly you in twice a year for our on-site team events.
  • You have worked remotely before. You can work alone, but you shine when you work together. Pair programming, mob programming, brainstorming
you have no issue expressing your ideas, thoughts, and comments.
  • Fluent in English.
