What this role involves

At A Glance

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered tools to accelerate our internal ms. This is a software engineering role first where you should be comfortable owning backend systems, APIs, and production architecture. AI/agentic experience is the layer on top. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role at the center of a growing AI Ops function within Corporate Technology. You will design and build AI Assistants that automate real workflows, integrate with enterprise tools, and are grounded in sound software engineering practices. You will not be building demos. You will be building production-grade systems that people at RVO Health will use every day.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full AI development stack: from designing AI workflow automation and fine-tuning prompts to building APIs and integrating third-party platforms. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, can translate a business workflow into a technical architecture, and care about delivering work that is reliable, maintainable, and secure.

This role reports into the Director of AI Ops & Platform Engineering and works closely with the AI Ops team, security, IT, and platform engineering. It is an early and influential seat in a program that will accelerate the adoption and use of AI across RVO Health.

Where You’ll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our Charlotte, NC/Fort Mill, SC, Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

(This role is also open remotely for those candidates outside of a hub location)

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and iterate on AI Assistants integrated with enterprise tools including Jira, Slack, and internal data sources
  • Develop and maintain prompt engineering frameworks, evaluation pipelines, and feedback loops to continuously improve assistant quality and reliability
  • Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and integrations that connect AI capabilities to the tools teams already use
  • Collaborate with AI Ops, security, IT, and platform engineering teams to ensure systems are production-grade, secure, and observable
  • Contribute to a repeatable framework for building new AI Assistants as the program expands
  • Enable the organization by building a marketplace of shared skills/plugins
  • Evaluate new models, tools, and libraries and make informed recommendations on when and how to adopt them
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to AI outputs, data handling, and responsible use
  • Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and onboarding materials that help the team scale what gets built

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year focused on building with AI and/or creating LLM-powered applications
  • Experience building and deploying apps in cloud infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) and the practical realities of prompt engineering at scale
  • Experience leveraging Claude Code for agentic coding
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs and enterprise tools (Jira, Slack, or similar platforms is a plus)
  • Experience with  software engineering best practices including: version control, testing, CI/CD, observability, and code review
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to understand workflows and translate them into technical requirements

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $140,000 - $175,000

  • Experience applying AI tools (e.g., LLMs, automation tools) to real-world problems
  • Process design and optimization mindset
  • Clear communication and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Bias toward action, experimentation, and iteration

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Thanks for your interest in the Applied AI Practice at Nymbus. We've tried to make this process transparent and respectful of your time. Here's what it looks like, end to end:

  • Apply. Submit your rÊsumÊ through the posting. We'll ask two quick questions up front — your work authorization and your compensation expectations — so we can make sure we're aligned before either of us invests time.
  • A short video interview. If your background looks like a fit, we'll invite you to a brief one-way video interview you can record on your own schedule — a few questions, no live scheduling required.
  • A conversation with the hiring manager. A 1:1 conversation with the Director of Applied AI — partly for us to learn how you think, partly for you to dig into the role, the team, and whether it's the right fit for you.
  • A short build exercise. A small, hands-on project shaped like the actual work, built with whatever AI-native tools you like. Plan for a few hours; you'll have a 72-hour window so you can fit it around a job or classes. We care how you think and build, not how long you spend.
  • A brief online assessment. A short, standard assessment that all Nymbus candidates complete.
  • Offer. If it's a match, we move to an offer.

We try to move quickly and keep you informed at each step. Questions along the way are always welcome.

BENEFITS:

  • Opportunities for progressive role seniority and compensation growth based on the candidate's knowledge and experience
  • Competitive annual salary, performance-based cash bonus, and equity options
  • Fully remote work environment
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance

Operator AI Engineer at SQLI

Build and deploy LLM-powered applications, agentic workflows, and AI solutions for enterprise clients using frontier models and coding agents.

Mid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Company Description

We Elevate. Digitally.

SQLI is a European leader in digital transformation and customer experience, helping major international brands drive growth through technology. From strategy to implementation, we design and deliver high-performance architectures and engaging digital experiences by combining advanced technologies, proven methodologies, and deep technical expertise.

With 2,200 people across 12 countries, we’re looking for passionate individuals who share our values: Creative Spirit, Commitment, and Forward Thinking.

Job Description

About the role

The AI Engineer is the build engine of our AI practice. You turn business requirements into working AI solutions, fast, using coding agents and frontier models, then take the ones that prove their worth into production with the security, compliance, and reliability that enterprise clients demand.

This is not a model-training role. We are not building or fine-tuning models from scratch. You build agentic workflows and LLM-powered applications on top of frontier models, wire them into real enterprise systems, and make them safe to run.

You will work as part of the delivery team alongside consultants, business analysts, and architects. The consultant carries the client relationship and the architect owns the hard architectural calls. You own the build and you make real engineering decisions, not just execute someone else’s spec. You are proactive about spotting better ways to build, and trusted to deliver without close supervision.

What you will do

  • Use coding agents to prototype AI solutions quickly against real client requirements, so the team can validate value before committing to a full build

  • Build, deploy, and maintain LLM-powered applications and agents that align with enterprise architecture principles and standards, with evaluation, monitoring, and token tracking in place from day one

  • Set up MCP connectors and permissions against client systems, taking real care over data handling, access control, and what an agent is and is not allowed to do

  • Build production solutions that meet client security requirements and European data protection obligations, including GDPR. This is not optional and not an afterthought

  • Collaborate with consultants, business analysts, and architects to break business requirements down into solutions that are feasible, maintainable, and safe

  • Create reusable AI assets and accelerators for the practice, including skills, plugins, and MCP servers that make future engagements faster

  • Support Data & AI teams with best practices around AI-assisted development, documentation, and automation, and coach less experienced colleagues on agentic build patterns and security standards

  • Document deployment, upgrade paths, and maintenance so SQLI and our clients can own what you build after handover

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with AI-assisted development. You have shipped something real with Claude or another agent platform, not just followed tutorials

  • Strong TypeScript and/or Python for agentic glue code, custom MCP work, and evaluation

  • Experience building RAG applications

  • Hands-on with creating and using agent plugins, skills, and MCP servers for repeatable agentic workflows

  • Skilled at engineering the prompts and context that let agents do work as autonomously as is safe and sensible

  • Solid grasp of security, access control, and data protection (including GDPR) when building systems that act against real client data with real permissions

  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and automation

  • Able to take a prototype through to a production-grade build, not just one or the other

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, ideally from an agency or consulting setting

  • Proactive and autonomous, able to spot opportunities, make sound engineering decisions, and own delivery rather than wait to be told how to build

  • Business-level English, able to understand business requirements directly from clients and communicate clearly in calls and in writing

Nice to have

  • Familiar with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure AI infrastructure, as our primary cloud for production AI

  • Hands-on with Anthropic’s managed agent infrastructure (Claude managed agents, the agents API)

  • Prior work on evaluation methods for LLM outputs

  • Experience in e-commerce, or from an AI, agentic, or workflow automation background

  • Comfortable presenting technical work and learnings to a non-engineering audience

Additional Information

How we will work together

You will report into the Data & AI service line leadership and work as part of client delivery teams across the service line and the wider SQLI group. The role is primarily billable client work. You will occasionally join client sessions for technical depth, but the consultant carries the relationship. We are looking for someone who can own technical decisions on the build, not only execute, with room to grow toward an AI Architect track as the practice scales.

How to apply

Send a short note covering:

  1. One thing you have built recently with Claude Code or a Claude-based agent, with a link if possible

  2. How you would take an agent that touches real client systems from a quick prototype to something safe to run in production

  3. Your notice period and earliest start date

Why you’ll love working at SQLI?

  • A flexible remote working policy: 3 days per week
  • Continuous learning opportunities and certifications to support your development
  • Personalised support: career follow-up, diverse projects, and strong team collaboration
  • Regular rituals: internal communications on tech and AI topics, internal events, and meet-ups

Operator Applied AI Engineer at DeepIntent

Designs, builds, and deploys AI agents and automation workflows to streamline operational processes across business teams using LLMs and Python.

Mid Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

DeepIntent is leading the healthcare advertising industry with data-driven solutions built for the future. From day one, our mission has been to improve patient outcomes through the artful use of advertising, data science, and real-world clinical data. For more information visit, www.DeepIntent.com.

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to embed directly with our US commercial and operational teams building a human and agentic “operating system” that powers how we work as a company. In this role, you will be a builder and a problem-solver — someone who translates day-to-day operational pain points into practical AI agent and automation solutions that free up capacity for higher-value work.

This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about applied AI, comfortable working across business and technical teams, and excited to see their work make an immediate and measurable impact.

Build & Deploy AI Agents and Automations

  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate administrative and repetitive workflows across commercial operations.
  • Identify high-value automation opportunities by working directly with stakeholders to map processes and surface inefficiencies.
  • Develop solutions using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic Claude), workflow automation tools, RESTful APIs, and Python scripting.
  • Prototype, iterate, and ship working solutions quickly — moving from problem to deployed tool with minimal overhead.

  • Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

  • Bias toward shipping, iteration, and continuous improvement

Outcomes

  • ML models in production meet expected accuracy, latency, and reliability targets.

  • Production issues are identified quickly, debugged effectively, and root causes addressed.

  • Data pipelines, training loops, and inference systems are robust, reproducible, and maintainable.

  • Collaborates effectively with engineers, product, and research teams to deliver reliable ML-powered features.

  • Iterations on models and systems are driven by real-world signals and measurable improvements.

How We Work

The best products today in the world were built by small, world class teams. We make decisions collectively, move at rapid speed, striking a balance between shipping high quality work and learning. Joining our team requires the ability to bring structure, exercise judgment, and execute independently. Our goal is to put in hands of our users a truly magical AI product.

Interview process

If there appears to be a fit, we'll reach to schedule 3, but no more than 4 interviews.

Applications are evaluated by our technical team members. Interviews will be conducted via virtual meetings and/or onsite.

We value transparency and efficiency, so expect a prompt decision. If you've demonstrated the exceptional skills and mindset we're looking for, we'll extend an offer to join us. This isn't just a job offer; it's an invitation to be part of a team that's bringing AI to have practical benefits to billions globally.

Operator Senior Software Engineer II- (Forward Deployed AI) at Aledade

Embeds with product teams to enable AI adoption by building AI-powered plugins, skills, and integrations, then productizes solutions for broader platform use.

Senior Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Aledade’s AI Enablement team enables, educates, and supports the Product, Tech, and Analytics (PTA) organization in adopting developer-centric AI tools (Claude Code, MCP, plugins, skills, hooks). The Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) embeds directly with a PTA cohort — Point of Care, Risk, Data, or another team — to unblock AI adoption on the ground: shipping plugins and skills tailored to that team’s workflows, integrating their tools through the MCP Gateway, and turning hard-won lessons into reusable patterns for the broader platform. This is the role for engineers who think like internal consultants: meet teams where they are, build what they need today, and feed durable wins back into the marketplace and installer that the rest of Aledade depends on.

Primary Duties:

  • Embed with a PTA cohort and ship targeted enablement. Pair with engineers, PMs, and analysts on the assigned team; build plugins, skills, hooks, and connectors that solve their highest-friction workflows; measure adoption and impact.

  • Productize wins into the platform. Generalize cohort-specific work into reusable plugins, skill templates, and patterns published to the Claude Code Plugin Marketplace; document authorship guides; reduce the activation cost for the next cohort.

  • Integrate new tools through the MCP Gateway + AWS connector layer. Add and harden MCP server integrations (Glean, Slack, Jira, Snowflake, Salesforce, Databricks, etc.) to the gateway; partner with security and platform owners on auth/scopes/observability.

  • Feed back to the platform team and AI Unlock program. Contribute to roadmap and quarterly milestones; participate in office hours and brownbags as a practitioner; surface blockers (security, BAA, cost, throttling) early.

  • Support adoption health. Help close the long tail of repos with no .claude/ config; mentor cohort engineers on agentic-coding patterns; on-call rotation for marketplace-published artifacts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years professional software engineering experience

  • Production experience with at least one modern application stack (Python, TypeScript/Node, Go, or similar) and modern CI/CD.

  • Demonstrated ability to ship end-to-end in unfamiliar codebases — e.g., consulting, forward-deployed, solutions, or platform-adjacent backgrounds.

  • Direct hands-on experience with one or more agentic coding tools in a production or near-production setting (Claude Code, Cursor, Cody, Copilot agents, Aider, or equivalent).

  • Strong written communication: comfortable producing documentation, runbooks, and educational artifacts for engineers who weren’t in the room.

Preferred KSA’s:

  • Experience authoring or maintaining MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, Claude Code plugins, skills, hooks, or comparable LLM-tooling integrations.

  • Background in healthcare technology, HIPAA-regulated environments, or PHI-handling systems.

  • Prior FDE / customer-facing engineering / solutions architect / TPM-with-IC-chops experience.

  • Familiarity with Aledade’s stack (Python/FastAPI, Vue/TypeScript, Postgres, AWS, Auth0, Datadog, Sumo Logic) is a plus but not required.

Operator Senior Software Engineer I- (Forward Deployed AI) at Aledade

Embeds with engineering teams to deploy and integrate AI developer tools, builds plugins and skills, and productizes AI adoption patterns across the organization.

  • 3+ years professional software engineering experience

  • Production experience with at least one modern application stack (Python, TypeScript/Node, Go, or similar) and modern CI/CD.

  • Demonstrated ability to ship end-to-end in unfamiliar codebases — e.g., consulting, forward-deployed, solutions, or platform-adjacent backgrounds.

  • Direct hands-on experience with one or more agentic coding tools in a production or near-production setting (Claude Code, Cursor, Cody, Copilot agents, Aider, or equivalent).

  • Strong written communication: comfortable producing documentation, runbooks, and educational artifacts for engineers who weren’t in the room.

Preferred KSA’s:

  • Experience authoring or maintaining MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, Claude Code plugins, skills, hooks, or comparable LLM-tooling integrations.

  • Background in healthcare technology, HIPAA-regulated environments, or PHI-handling systems.

  • Prior FDE / customer-facing engineering / solutions architect / TPM-with-IC-chops experience.

  • Familiarity with Aledade’s stack (Python/FastAPI, Vue/TypeScript, Postgres, AWS, Auth0, Datadog, Sumo Logic) is a plus but not required.

  • Experience integrating tools through API gateways, OAuth/M2M flows, or service meshes.

  • Comfort across the full stack (frontend/backend/infra) — FDE work doesn’t honor team boundaries.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.

Operator Forward Deployed Engineer at GWI

Embeds with enterprise customers to deploy agentic AI platforms end-to-end, write production code, and drive technical outcomes in complex environments.

Lead Hybrid Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Location: London

Office requirement: 2 days in the office - Significant travel required

Employment type: Permanent

Seniority level: Principal

At GWI we’re always looking for extraordinary people who thrive on making an extraordinary impact. Right now we’re looking for an Forward Deployed Engineer to play a key role in our Solutions Consultants Team in London. If that’s you, and making a difference gets you out of bed in the morning, keep reading. It could be the start of something, well, extraordinary.

Sounds great, what will I be doing? 🤔

As our Lead / Principal Forward Deployed Engineer you’ll be embedded directly with our most strategic accounts, owning the end-to-end technical deployment of our agentic AI platform. This isn’t a support role, and it isn’t a solutions consultant with a fancy title — you’ll write production code, own technical outcomes, and be the reason our biggest customers succeed and expand. You’ll operate with the autonomy of a founding engineer and the commercial instinct of a GTM leader.

A few things you’ll be responsible for:

👉 Embed with our Tier 1 enterprise accounts and own end-to-end deployments of our agentic AI platform — from discovery through to production, including bespoke integrations, data pipelines, and workflow automations.

👉 Lead AI agents into production in complex environments (legacy systems, security, compliance), turning cutting-edge capability into measurable business outcomes.

👉 Partner with Enterprise AEs in late-stage sales cycles — leading proof-of-concept builds and assessing technical readiness to de-risk and accelerate the close.

👉 Surface patterns from the field and feed them back to product and engineering, acting as the bridge between customer reality and roadmap.

👉 Build out the FDE practice as it scales: repeatable deployment playbooks, success metrics, and mentoring mid-level FDEs.

It’s also fun; shaking things up is what working for GWI is all about. You’ll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment.

What do I need to bring with me? 🧳

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don’t have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn.

Here’s what the team will be looking for in you:

👉 Significant experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a customer-facing technical role — with meaningful time spent shipping production code in complex enterprise environments.

👉 Demonstrable experience deploying AI or data-heavy products into large organisations — real production deployments, not just POCs.

👉 Strong full-stack or backend engineering fundamentals: Python essential, plus comfort across APIs, SQL, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and data pipelines.

👉 The ability to work through ambiguity and turn it into a concrete technical plan.

👉 Clear communication across technical and business audiences — you can tailor the same idea for an engineering lead and a commercial stakeholder.

👉 Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK and Europe (approximately 30–50% of the time).

Nice to have:

👉 Hands-on experience with LLM deployment, AI agents, or agentic workflow automation.

👉 A background in a high-growth B2B SaaS or AI-native company.

👉 Experience in one or more of GWI’s core verticals: financial services, media & agencies, consumer goods, or technology.

👉 Prior experience in an FDE, solutions architect, or technical account management function at a company with a named-account enterprise motion.

Equally important is attitude. We want people who think big (to make an impact), ask why (to find a better way), and show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time). Those are our values, and they’re a big part of what we’re looking for in you.

What’s in it for me? 🎁

At GWI, you’ll find meaningful work, visible impact, and a culture that empowers you to do your best. Our package includes:

🌴 Time to recharge – 25 days’ annual leave, plus office closures over the holidays.

🧘 Health & wellbeing – Health cash plan, enhanced family benefits, carer days, and mental health support.

💸 Financial benefits – Competitive salary, 4% pension matching, and recognition programs that celebrate success.

🏡 Flexibility & balance – Flexitime, early Friday finishes, hybrid and remote options, plus a “work from home” budget.

💪 Career growth – Accredited learning, leadership development, and global career mobility.

🌎 Community & impact – DE&I initiatives, volunteering opportunities, donation matching, and payroll giving.

Put all that together and GWI is the friendliest, most fulfilling place any of us has ever worked.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Diversity is fundamental to who we are—both as a data company and as a workplace. Our data reflects global realities, and so must our teams. We strive to ensure our workforce is as diverse and inclusive as the insights we provide to our clients.

As a Disability Confident employer, we welcome applications from disabled candidates and are committed to providing all necessary adjustments during the hiring process. We also actively encourage applications from underrepresented and marginalized communities.

At GWI, you will find a place where you can contribute meaningfully, grow professionally, and belong fully.

Operator Builder Chief

Senior full-stack developer who directs AI agents to build internal tools and external services, validates AI-generated code, and owns the product lifecycle for a trucking compliance business.

Senior Posted 4 days ago RemoteOK Dev
What this role involves

The Mission

We are a trucking compliance business started in 1973. In the last 4 years we’ve successfully transitioned from DOS systems and dot matrix printers to streamlined processes and web-based systems using contract developers and our own technical abilities. About 18 months ago, the owner started vibing with Replit Agent and Claude Code to ship internal tools, integrations, and web applications across our brands. While that’s been fruitful as a proof-of-concept, the business owner is currently the primary builder, which is a terrible spot for a business owner to be.

We are looking for our first technical hire. A senior-level Full-Stack Developer who wants to get into the weeds and ship some cool internal systems and external services. We need a "Builder-in-Chief" to own the entire product lifecycle. You’ll embed with the client service team to identify friction points, help design the solution, and direct AI agents to execute the build. We’ll make sure you have the tools and an environment to do your best work.

The Stack & Your Technical Role

You won't be writing every line of code by hand, but you must be a master of the craft to validate, refactor, and secure what the AI produces. Because of our “just go with it” strategy, our stack has gotten wide. We’d like you to help us shape the stack going forward using your expertise. Our ecosystem currently includes:

  • Core Apps: Ruby on Rails (our primary fuel tax app, FM22), Laravel (authority filings), and Express/React (Authority work order management).
  • Data & Infra: PostgreSQL, a variety of hosts (Render, DigitalOcean, etc), and various no-code/low-code integrations (Airtable, Zapier, Make).
  • Agent Orchestration: You will leverage the 3C’s: Claude, Cursor, and Codex to ship features while maintaining high code quality through rigorous review.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operational Deep-Dives: You won't be bogged down writing lengthy requirements documents; your focus is on understanding the work. You will embed with our compliance teams (IFTA reporting, IRP Renewals, FMCSA Operating Authority) to find the friction. That means faster, more informed building and ensures we ship the right, “wow” features for the team.
  • Build with incremental ambition: We’re often better off with a shipped feature this week than we are waiting around for the perfect solution. Work with the team to find where it creates value and delight.
  • System Design: Collaborate with our part-time architect to design robust data models, scalable approaches, and API integrations (e.g., integrating third-party ELD normalization platforms like Terminal).
  • Design “Not-Too-Shabby” Frontends: It’s 2026, there’s no reason to ship an ugly UI or a poor user experience. Maybe the UI won’t win any awards for novelty, but it’ll be high on usability and will be easy on our middle-aged eyes.
  • Testing & Deployment: Own the testing suite. You are responsible for ensuring that AI-generated code is maintainable and solves the business problem before it hits production.
  • Technical Documentation: Ensure we have high quality and current technical documentation so enhancements, fixes, and maintenance are efficient.

About You

  • You have a track record of shipping production-grade software (not just prototypes).
  • You would rather sit down and watch someone work than ask a series of academic questions
  • You’ve developed deep domain knowledge in the past
  • You are “stack-agnostic”. You should be comfortable moving between Rails, Laravel, and Python depending on the tool needed for the job, even if you have a preference for one over the other.
  • You have a tinkerer mindset and a bias toward shipping, but with the discipline to keep our core data safe.

We're a small company building real systems that help keep thousands of trucks on the road every day. If you're the kind of person who's energized by ownership, solving problems, and seeing the direct impact of what you build, we'd like to hear from you.
